Some occasions call for peace and privacy away from prying eyes. The private rooms at our restaurants suit all-day meetings, atmospheric Christmas parties and even larger birthday celebrations — in central Helsinki and in Leppävaara, Espoo.

Front Room

The Front Room is the first space you enter in the restaurant, with windows facing Fredrikinkatu.

Back Room

A quiet room at the back of the restaurant, set for 25 guests at two long tables side by side. Both rooms together suit a private event for 40–55 guests.

Private room

A fully private room at the back of the wine bar, on the Lönnrotinkatu side. Both Muru's dinner menus and the Viinibaari's delicacies are available. The Viinibaari itself can also be booked: seated about 20, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail reception.

Minimum spend guarantee. Private room Wed–Sat 500 €. Front or back room for half an evening (17.00–19.30 or from 20.30) 2 500 €, for a full evening 5 000 €. When the food and drink spend reaches this amount, no separate room hire is charged. Allergies and special diets are always catered for individually.

The Front Room seats about 24 guests. The space is not private, but the area can be reserved for your own party.

At the back of the restaurant, a partition sets off a back room for up to 50 guests, with its own privacy. The space suits private events for larger parties.

Cabinet Privé

When you need fully closed doors, the right choice is the private room with its own separate entrance. One long table seats a party of up to 24. The private room also has a video projector and screen.

Chambre de bar

At the back of the wine bar, behind a curtain, there is a private nook for a party of 12. The bar counter separates the area from the dining room, so you can talk in peace in your own corner.

Minimum spend guarantee. Cabinet Privé for dinner Mon–Sat 1 200 € and for lunch 300 €. When the food and drink spend reaches this amount, no separate room hire is charged. At lunchtime we offer a weekly-changing three-course Menu du Jour 39 €; for dinner, the chef's three- or four-course menu 59 € / 64 €; and on Saturdays a three-course brunch served at the table 39 €.

Villa Lilla

Villa Lilla is within walking distance of Leppävaara station. The building, over 100 years old, has three beautiful rooms named after the colours of their tiled stoves: green, white and red. The Green and White Rooms can be closed off with a door. There is a door between the rooms, so a larger party can book both rooms or the whole restaurant privately.

A room with a door that closes, bookable for private use.

White Room

Next to the Green Room and likewise closable with a door. A door between the rooms connects the spaces for a larger party.

Minimum spend guarantee. Around 500–1 000 € at lunchtime and around 1 000–2 000 € in the evening, depending on the time booked. Lunch is a three-course menu 32 €; dinner is a weekly-changing four-course menu 54 €.
